SPORT SYSTEMS CANADA INC. UGLY BLEACHER CONTEST TERMS & CONDITIONS

Entries must be submitted between June 1, 2023, and July 30, 2023. The winner will receive a 5-row, 12′ bleacher system with an approximate value of $4,600. The winner is able to use the cash value of the prize towards a larger bleacher or an order of multiple bleachers. Labour, guardrails, and add-ons beyond the standard package are not included. Bleacher ships disassembled. Assembly is the responsibility of the contest winner.  Winner may apply the value to a different style of bleacher and will be responsible for paying any cost difference. The winner may not return materials for a cash prize. If the winner is a Sport Systems customer during the month of the draw and has purchased a bleacher installation, they may receive their winnings as a credit toward the cost of their booked project. 

Note: The entrant must be the representative or owner of the bleacher submitted. Only one entry per organization. All photos submitted become the property of Sport Systems and can be used in marketing associated with Sport Systems. Winner will be contacted directly via email or phone and announced in August 2023 via Sport Systems social media/email. See below for complete contest rules. 

Contest Rules 

  1. No purchase necessary. 
  2. Void where prohibited by international, federal, provincial, or local law. 
  3. Winners are responsible for any and all federal, provincial, and local taxes, which may be payable due to receipt of prize. 
  4. Participants may not use equipment such as computers to alter (photoshop) entries to win the contest. Winners who are found to have used such equipment will be disqualified. 
  5. One winner per organization. 
  6. Sport Systems reserves the right to cancel the promotion at any time. All prize award decisions are final. The decisions of Sport Systems’ management are final. Rules may be changed by Sport Systems at any time during contest. 
  7. Winners must agree to release and hold harmless Sport Systems, and its affiliates, agencies, advertisers, sponsors, licensees, and immediate families from claims, liabilities, or legal actions which may arise as a result of winning a prize in the contest. 
  8. Employees, agencies, representatives, affiliates, and immediate families of Sport Systems are not eligible. 
  9. Contests are open only to organizations in Canada. 
  10. Prizes may not be exchanged, substituted, transferred or redeemed for other prizes by winner. Prizes are non – transferable. 
  11. To be eligible to win, each winner will be required to sign a release giving Sport Systems permission to use their name, picture, portrait, likeness and voice for publicity purposes connected with this promotion without additional compensation. Winners will be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility and release as a condition of winning. Where applicable, tax forms must be completed. 
  12. All insurance costs are the responsibility of the winner. 
  13. Winners have sixty (60) days to claim prize. 
  14. Prizes not claimed in sixty (60) days will be forfeited by winner. 
  15. By entering, entrant agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Sport Systems and their subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, employees and agents against any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), with respect to or arising out of either (i) entrant’s participation, or (ii) the receipt or use of the prizes awarded in the promotion. 
  16. Sport Systems is not responsible in the event of any technical difficulties with any equipment, including computer equipment during any and all contests. 
  17. Sport Systems is not responsible for any events beyond their control (acts of God, etc).
